HEMINGWAY SCHOLAR CONTRIBUTES REVIEW

Dr. James Meredith, CSU Global English faculty member and president of the Ernest Hemingway Foundation and Society, contributed a review of the book "Hemingway's Paris: A Writer's City in Words and Images." The book is a study of the ways various kinds of injury and trauma affected Ernest Hemingway’s life and writing, from the First World War through his suicide in 1961. Wagner-Martin’s litany of the writer’s wounds—both physical and emotional—provides a carefully detailed background for the brilliant American writer’s choices in life and work.

Dr. Meredith, a retired US Air Force Academy professor, has published extensively on the work of Ernest Hemingway, and is considered a scholarly expert on his work.
