As of our Winter A semester, all first-time freshmen in Colorado will be able to enroll in CSU Global courses. Governor Hickenlooper signed the Senate Bill 18-101 bill into law on March 22, 2018, which allows CSU Global to admit first-time Colorado freshman of any age, regardless of how much previous college experience they have.
CSU Global was founded in 2007, with the intention of serving working adults who had previous college credits but no bachelor’s degree. Since 2014, when Senate Bill 14-114 was signed into law, CSU Global has been able to accept first-time, first-year freshmen from every U.S. state except Colorado, and was only able to accept Colorado students who had 12 or more transfer credits.
CSU Global’s mission is to provide affordable, high-quality, and career-relevant education to students of all ages, and to prepare them for the jobs of the future. We offer a flexible, personalized, student-centered approach to career success via online education.
