A New Partnership and “Family” Reunion: CSU-Global’s Mascot, Goldie, Meets a Real Golden Eagle
By Ariana Jackson - February 21st, 2018

Golden eagles, like our students, represent focus, courage, strength, and adaptability. To celebrate our 10-year anniversary and in connection with our mascot, Goldie the golden eagle, Colorado State University-Global Campus has partnered with the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program.
This video gives an inside look at our partnership with the Rocky Mountain Raptor Program and CSU Global President, Dr. Becky Tinker-Takeda, Provost Dr. Jon Bellum, and CSU Global’s mascot Goldie’s meeting with one of the rescued Golden Eagles.

The Rocky Mountain Raptor Program rescues and rehabilitates nearly 300 birds of prey (including golden eagles) annually, and provides education about raptors to students and adults throughout the state of Colorado. The connection between the the golden eagle and what our students bring to their careers and education are what we strive to support every step of the way.
