A New Beginning
By Elizabeth Rittiman - June 24th, 2015
Congratulations to all of our graduates who participated in the 2015 Commencement Ceremony.
This past Saturday, at the Bellco Theatre in downtown Denver, over 700 CSU Global graduates earned their degrees. The venue was packed. Over five thousand of the graduates’ closest friends and family members were there to show their support. Those who couldn’t make it were able to watch the ceremony live on our website. Graduates and their friends and family took part in our live social media sessions, sending messages out like these with the hashtag #GlobalGrads:
“Soooo pleased to graduate today #nevertoolate”
“Thank you for doing the live stream. Couldn’t make it, but felt like I was there! Masters Degree done!!”
“Thanks for reading my name virtually! So fun!”
Many of them already have jobs in their fields, but their degrees will allow them to advance in their careers. For others, it will be the start of something new altogether. A few of them simply wanted the satisfaction of earning their degree. Whatever their reasons, they have one thing in common: their opportunities are endless. That’s the exciting thing about graduating from college. You may not know exactly where you’re going next, but there’s an excitement and optimism that comes with knowing you’re definitely headed in a good direction.
Congratulations, graduates! You did it!

When she moved to Denver with her husband in 2011 she used the opportunity to switch gears in her career to find a role where she could be more of an advocate for the things she was passionate about, education being one of them. When she’s not working, she enjoys skiing and snowshoeing in the Rocky Mountains.
